  • The spacing between two poles
  • Length of the arm
  • Size of the overhang among others

  • Uniformity of the luminance
  • How effective the visual guidance is and
  • The lamp spectra

Also, certain software will generally guide an individual to come up with the most appropriate calculations on the same.  Street illumination is also done using various international standards. The calculations of the height of the poles and the spacing between poles are never at liberty of the people installing them. Therefore, the use of internationally recognized software will go a long way in helping to meet this.
